As an organization, we believe in the importance of making the expressive arts accessible to individuals regardless of economic status - this means payment equity through the use of a sliding scale.

Because of our commitment to accessibility, we offer 10 deeply discounted scholarships and 2 work-study opportunities for each training. If our sliding scale options do not reflect your ability to pay, we encourage you to apply for our scholarship and work-study program.

Please reach out to Jo Vance if you need further assistance. We want to help you through this process as much as we’re able.

If you have resources or access to resources, we invite you to pay the second or third option on the scale, which best reflects our actual costs to provide this training for each participant and sustains our ability to provide this scale.

Registration Q&A

Are CE units offered?

CE units are offered for this training, and can be purchased above. Each training level provides 12 clock hours of Continuing Education Units that meet the Washington State Department of Health criteria for LMHC, LMFT, and LMSW. CEUs are made available in partnership with the Evergreen Art Therapy Association.

A fee of $25 is charged for each CEU certificate (Level I & II are separate certificates). Please indicate on the registration form if you will require one or two CEU certificates, and add the same quantity to your cart before checking out.

We can only provide CEU certificates to individuals who can attend the full training schedule for both days. If more than 1 hour is missed in each day, we cannot provide a CEU certificate.

Are there scholarship and work-study options available?

Thanks to our generous donors, we are able to offer 10 deeply discounted scholarships and 2 work-study volunteer spots for each training. To learn more and apply, visit our scholarship and work-study page. Our deadline to apply for both options is June 25, 2019.

Are there other ways to pay for the training?

We encourage you to engage with your community to raise the funds for the training and to spread awareness about why the arts and creative expression are so vital!

What is the cancellation/refund policy?

We regret that refunds are not available once registration closes. You are encouraged to sell or gift your registration to a colleague.

What’s the registration deadline?

Please register by noon on July 24, for both or either training. If we reach max capacity, we will close registration early, so don’t wait to secure your spot!

Other questions or concerns?

Please don’t hesitate to email Jo Vance.
