We All Need A Little Help From Our Friends
Two Chances to Get Involved
It's February, which means the days are getting longer, love is in the air, and we are getting busy at First Aid Arts! This month we have two cool opportunities for you to help wounded hearts heal beautifully, our Toolkit Assembly Party Feb 17 and our Level I HAT Training Feb 24-26. Details on each opportunity are listed below, and if you are up for taking part please fill out the brief volunteer form at the end of this post.
HAT Toolkit Assembly Party
The heart and soul of our Healing Arts Toolkit Training Program is the toolkit, a collection of 12 arts based interventions that equip trauma care providers with all of the supplies they need to bring healing and hope to trauma survivors. Come help us assemble these life giving toolkits for upcoming trainings. We'll have good music and plenty of fun, plus this party is being hosted at the MIIR Flagship store in Fremont, one of the cooler places in town.

Seattle HAT Training
If you have a knack for making people feel welcome we want to invite you to volunteer at our upcoming training Feb 24-26. Hosted at Fremont Abbey in Seattle, this Level I training is a 3 day training that prepares trauma care providers to use the healing arts with trauma survivors. As a member of the hospitality team you'll help set up the space, prepare snacks and meals, and clean up. Volunteers are invited to help all three days of the training, one day, or part of one day, whatever works best for you.
