Michael Zuch

Research & Development Assistant

Michael started with First Aid Arts as an intern working on adapting the Healing Arts Toolkit to meet the needs of refugees and internally displaced persons. Now he works as the Research & Development Assistant managing  the grant research and writing process and assisting in program development and evaluation. Michael is an Austrian-American, originally hailing from Vienna, Austria. He has since made homes in South Carolina, Seattle, and Nashville. He is a graduate of Vanderbilt University where he studied Human and Organizational Development (Health and Human Services) and Music (Oboe). Starting in the fall of 2017, Michael will be attending the University of South Carolina where he will be pursuing his Masters in Social Work, focusing on clinical practice and social justice. He’s a huge fan of all music, theatre, hiking, his dog, baked goods, and tea.
