Ready to Love Creatively?

We are a small and mighty team that depends on volunteers like you to make the world a bit more beautiful for trauma survivors. We have a lot of opportunities to get involved with behind the scenes happenings like graphic design, research, and event planning, and there are ways to get involved with our Healing Arts Toolkit trainings. Please check out our current opportunities listed below and then complete the volunteer form so we can be in touch.

The FAA Hospitality team is our highly trained volunteer team that helps us live out our values of hospitality, beauty, and professionalism at each and every First Aid Arts training! As a Hospitality team member you'll help set up and tear down space for the training, greet attendees and process registration, serve food and refreshments, photograph the training, create training certificates, and support the FAA facilitators as needed. This is a fun, hands on role that gives you a first person experience of our trainings. Prerequisites include a two hour hospitality team training and the ability to attend (and potentially travel to) a 3 day FAA training.

HAT stands for Healing Arts Toolkit, which is the bread and butter of our training program. Each toolkit is hand assembled and includes all the materials care providers need to serve trauma survivors. Every few months we get the HAT team together, crank some tunes, share some laughs, and assemble toolkits for upcoming trainings. Assembly parties usually last an hour and take place at various locations around Seattle.
